All About Me
Hi, I'm Dan, the founder of Reuse Eyewear, a Dispensing Optician with extensive experience in the field. Throughout my journey in the optical industry, I have witnessed the overwhelming volume of waste being produced, prompting me to take action towards a more sustainable future. My current position at the NHS in the Hospital Eye Department, I am entrusted with addressing complex and specialised eye conditions.
I firmly believe in the importance of giving every client the opportunity to express their needs and preferences, ensuring that their visual requirements are thoroughly explored and understood.
In the optical sector, sustainability is becoming
increasingly crucial, and while receiving a silver award
for our efforts is an acknowledgment of our progress, it also
serves as a reminder that there is more work to be done. We have implemented eco-friendly practices, such as using sustainable materials and minimizing waste, yet we must continually assess our processes and seek innovative solutions to further reduce our environmental impact. This outstanding accomplishment is a true reflection of our unwavering dedication and hard work within the optical industry . The evening was a fanatic celebration for the industry and was lovely to meet like minded peers.
